Our Print Team
Martin Lett Snr – Managing Director
Martin joined the family business as a letterpress apprentice in 1967, and took over as managing director in 1979. Having overseen the transition from letterpress into litho printing he has always been ready to assist the company financially as the company has grown. Now at Marstan Press for over 45 years he has the same enthusiasm for print as he did when he first joined the company; ink runs through his veins.
Martin Lett Jnr – Sales & Marketing Director
Martin joined Marstan in 2006 following four years at Loughborough University where he studied ‘Management Sciences’ – business studies to most people. Martin has helped modernise the company, and enjoys coming up with clever and creative marketing campaigns. If you have been lucky enough to receive a cake from us, you have Martin to thank!
Steve Lett ‐ Sales/Director
Steve started with Marstan in 2005 straight from school and began his career in the pre-press department. When the company introduced digital printing in 2009 he oversaw the growth of this department until stepping into sales at the start of 2014.
Glenn Cook – Sales/Director
Glenn re-joined Marstan in 2005, and became a director in 2014. A key member of our sales team Glenn has a thorough understanding of print, having started his career as a press minder. Glenn now combines this technical knowledge with his friendly personality to give our clients a warm and highly attentive service.
Paul Saunders – Print Estimator
Paul now applies his years of knowledge and experience to producing estimates for our clients. Having worked closely with our former production director for many years, there are very few production scenarios that Paul hasn’t come across.
Maria White – Finance Director
Maria came to Marstan aged 16 as an accounts junior and been with Marstan ever since. Under the tutorage of former finance director Fred Checkley, Maria developed a thorough understanding of all financial aspects of running a business. She is now finance director and combines her grasp of figures with her unflappable nature in the smooth running of her department.
Gary Crozier – Sales Co-ordination Director
Gary joined our sales co-ordination department in 2007 and quickly established himself, becoming the department manager in 2009 and director in 2014. When Gary is handling their job, clients can rest assured in the knowledge that Gary will efficiently manage it in his usual no-nonsense style.
Bev Butler – Sales
Bev is another ‘returner’ to Marstan after her first spell that ended in 2007. We are delighted to have her back, and as many of her clients will vouch, you will end up seeing Bev as your friend rather than your sales rep. Bev loves creative print, and is the office magpie grabbing anything that sparkles for her extensive samples collection. Having also worked in the print industry Bev is a great contact to have if you want to discuss a complex or slightly interesting project.
Paul Goddard – Sales Co-ordinator
Paul is one of the most diligent and courteous people you could hope to meet. Adored by his clients, Paul has many years of experience in the print industry. He has also been known to burst into song.
Adam Curtis – Pre-press Manager
Adam started at Marstan as a junior in the reprographics department over 15 years ago. He now manages all pre-press functions, and his knowledge of all things IT is staggering.
Brian Page – Manager responsible for the Environment, Health & Safety, Purchasing and MIS Maintenance
As you can tell, Brian is a busy man. At Marstan for over 10 years, Brian started in the sales co-ordination department before starting his new roles in 2014. Brian has worked meticulously setting up the new Tharstern MIS, whilst also maintaining our ISO14001 environmental management system, overseeing our paper purchasing and health and safety program. In his spare time Brian enjoys running and has set up a local running group.
